Weaving Photographs
I went a step further from photographs to interweaving the colored prints
to form large wall hangings. I had the luxury of working in a photography
studio for a short time. When the prints came out of the developer they
were on long strips. I used these strips by cutting them lenghtwise, then
I wove them.

The two images I used on this piece were a tiger
and a horse. This was my first quilt made of
photographs. The result looked like a Log Cabin
quilt.

This is a weaving of the "Old Faithful" geyser
in Yellowstone. I wove the long strips of the
photographs, then took two 8 x 10's and cut
them into strips. I placed the geyser in the
middle.
